A Warm Welcome Back and What’s New This Season
A lot has been happening behind the scenes at Blue Monarch Advanced Bodywork here in the San Antonio and New Braunfels area. While things may have seemed quieter publicly, the truth is we’ve been deep in learning, refining, and expanding the way we approach clinical bodywork and nervous system-informed care. This season has been about building stronger foundations — in our own education, in our team, and in the treatment experience we offer every client who walks through our doors.
The holiday season feels like the perfect time to reconnect and share everything we’ve been working on, and what we’ve got planned for 2026.
Professional Growth, Advanced Study, and What We’re Learning Next
This year has been dedicated to deepening our understanding of how the body adapts, compensates, and communicates long before pain ever shows up. Our team has spent time strengthening clinical assessment skills, improving postural and movement analysis, and studying the nervous system with more precision than ever.
Heather has reached Ninja status completeing NKT Level 3.
Heather has officially completed her NeuroKinetic Therapy Level 3 certification, the highest level of training in the NKT system. Only two practitioners in the greater San Antonio area hold this certification, making this an important milestone for our studio and for clients seeking more advanced assessment and corrective work.
NKT Level 3 explores:
Deep neurological compensation patterns
How the body reassigns load after injury or stress
Subtle sequencing issues that contribute to chronic pain
Advanced testing strategies for long-standing dysfunction
Heather also served as a Teaching Assistant for NKT Level 2, helping support other practitioners in their advanced learning.
Terri’s New Certification Achievement Unlocked
: MPS Scar Tissue Therapy
Terri, our resident expert in microcurrent and nervous system-supported care, completed her certification in MPS Scar Tissue Therapy. This approach addresses long-standing restrictions from surgeries, injuries, childbirth, and trauma — helping reconnect tissue, fascia, and nerves in a gentle, highly targeted way.

Beginning January 1:
15-minute Premium Add-Ons will increase by $5.
For new clients seeing Heather, updated session rates will be:
$135 for 60 minutes
$180 for 90 minutes
Anyone who has seen Heather within the past 12 months or has an established history of care will remain at their current rate this year.
